Healy Awards is based out of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and has been making athletic awards and plaques for nearly 40 years. They contacted us in the Fall of 2006 out of concern for their sales figures and search engine rankings.
The main concern they identified to us was their search rankings, which fell well below that of the competition. Healy Awards also expressed interest in re-launching their web site with an updated look and more features, and there was debate as to whether or not they should build a store for selling stock athletic decals online.
The issue with their current web site was that it was put online for web presence rather than marketing purposes. While they did feature some product lines and listed current specials, there was no full product or pricing information.

Our first step was to put their entire catalog online, including at least one picture of each item and a full price listing. The site was optimized for search and a PPC campaign began.
The decision was made not to put a store online as the products Healy Awards sells are too customized and a strong ROI would not be achieved within a reasonable amount of time.
results.
Healy Awards now enjoys the top spot in the results for targeted search terms. While large-scale SEO campaigns do take time, soon Healy will be at the top of the list in both sponsored and organic rankings. Further, as a result of putting their catalog online Healy has experienced an increase in sales calls and increased conversion rates.
